TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

General

• We have a 2-night minimum stay.

• Each unit can only accommodate a maximum of 2 guests.

• We do not accommodate infants or children.

• No pets allowed due to the nature of and on our property.

• No parties / loud noise or non-staying guests.

• Access to individual units varies in distance and terrain from the parking area. The distance to each unit is clearly stated on each unit’s information page. Access is via pathways and stairs, inclines and declines.

• Our property is on the side of a hill, and thus the terrain varies. Pathways and stairs comprise of grass, gravel and woodchips.

• Our property and accommodation access is not suited for individuals with mobility concerns.

• Check in is between 14:00 - 18:00. If you can’t reach us by 18:00, kindly let us know please so that we can make necessary arrangements.

• Check Out: 10:00. We reserve the right to make a surcharge for a departure later than the stipulated check-out time, as this adversely impacts the quality of our preparations for the next incoming guest.

• Strictly no smoking inside the accommodation. An ash tray is provided for use on the deck of each unit. Please use these, and dispose of cigarette butts correctly.

• Your accommodation is not serviced during your stay. This can be arranged in advance at an additional cost of R250 per service.

• Please respect the wildlife and nature on our property.

• This is our home – please respect it.

 

Payment

• To confirm your reservation a 50% deposit is required.

• The remaining outstanding balance of your booking is due no later than 7 days before check in date.

• Should your booking be made less than 7 days before check in date - the total amount of your stay must be paid in full. 

• We reserve the right to amend prices and details on the website.

• We reserve the right to refuse a booking without explanation.

 

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation up to 7 days before check in date - refund of total monies paid less 50% of deposit.

• Cancellation up to 2 days before check in date - refund of total monies paid less full deposit.

• Cancellation less than 2 days before check in - no refund

• No show – no refund.

 

Gift Vouchers

• Gift vouchers can only be purchased directly through Organic Origins Hogsback.

• A gift voucher must be paid in full.

• Non-refundable.

• Non-transferrable.

• Not redeemable for cash.

• Subject to availability.

• A gift voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

• Expired vouchers will not be accepted or extended under any circumstances.

• The voucher can only be redeemed when booked directly through Organic Origins Hogsback.

• The voucher code must be used when making a reservation.

• Our cancellation policy applies to reservations made with vouchers.

• We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged vouchers.

 

Damage

• Guests will notify us immediately of any damages and/or breakages which occur during their stay.

• If any part of the accommodation is found to be broken, badly damaged, irreplaceable, or missing as a result of the guest’s stay, an amount subject to the extent of the replacement and/or repair will be billed to the guest.

• Upon vacating the accommodation, the guest is responsible for leaving it in the same condition as they found it on their arrival.

• We will not be held responsible for any damage or loss to you or your personal property during your stay.
