Waterfall Cabin allows one to soak up the surrounds and sounds of open skies, forest magic and a magnificent view of our waterfall - all from the comfort of the spacious deck.
Big skies, big views - straight from your private deckPLEASE NOTE:
1. Due to the privacy and setting of this cabin, it is roughly 200m walk from the parking area. There are stairs, inclines & declines. Grass, gravel, and wood chips make up the pathways. Please keep this in mind for luggage movement!
2. There is currently no braai area.
Waterfall Cabin is so named as it is the closest cabin to our waterfall and the only one with a direct view of it. Built on a steep hillside, it sits elevated from the ground on tall, sturdy wooden poles. The deck, which wraps around half of the cabin, allows for plenty of space for outdoor dining and relaxation. A perfect spot for bird watching, star gazing, and if you're very lucky a rare sighting of the bushbuck who frequent our lower pathways along the river and waterfall.
The open plan design of this cabin creates an inviting space along with the trussed roof and many windows. The queen sized bed has a direct view out through the large front windows and also of the cast iron wood burning stove.

A small kitchenette has everything one might need during a stay. This includes a two-plate gas hob, under-counter fridge/freezer, crockery, cutlery, whistling kettle and glass ware. A compost bin is provided for any organic kitchen waste and separate bins for all other waste are labelled for easy identification. We also like to provide tea, filter coffee (plunger provided),sugar and fresh full cream milk, along with cooking oil, salt and pepper.

The bathroom, complete with basin, toilet and a spacious shower, is neatly tucked behind a barn style sliding wooden door.
Come take it easy at this unique and tranquil setting. Your next mountain escape awaits you at Waterfall Cabin.
